Background to this web site. Judy Vigors,
who sang with the choir for many years, initiated the site and generously
covered the costs of establishing it. The design was done professionally,
and the updating and expanding is now being carried out by a member of the
choir. Simon Cock, a past Chairman, has also been much involved.
Choir e-Newsletters Kate Elliott is kindly preparing a choir
newsletter and is publishing one each term.

Choir Workshop
On Saturday 11 February 2012 there will be a
choir workshop near Sloane
Square in London from 10 am to 4 pm. Nicholas Danks has kindly agreed to
lead the workshop. Music will be available for hire.
An enjoyable and jovial
Choir Party
On Tuesday 14 June 2011 there was a happy atmosphere at the annual Choir Party held
in the drawing room in Queen Alexandra's House - part of the Royal College of
Music. The photographs depict some of the presentations that were made and were
taken before the choir members gave a brief unaccompanied performance from In
the Mood, greatly enjoyed by members and guests.
Mendelssohn - St Paul. Concert held on 19 March 2011
Some video clips were taken of selected choruses at the concert (very much 'home
made'). Being on YouTube, they have to be under ten minutes in length,
hence the videos are in different parts.

Spring term 2011 A
few pictures showing the choir rehearsing and also in more sociable mode during
a break on the evening.
The Choir Tour 2010 The tour took place
in Slovakia with trips to Hungary and Austria, all from 9 to 14 September
2010. The are details of the Full itinerary,

Perhaps an opportunity will arise for a new one at some stage.
Parking outside St Paul's Knightsbridge.
Don't get caught on the day of the concert! The rules are now:
Residents' parking is up until 10pm from Monday to Saturday.
Parking meters and single yellow lines are up until 1.30pm on a Saturday.
There is a limited number of meters in Wilton Place and Wilton Terrace,
and more in Belgrave Square. There are also plenty down towards Victoria
ie Eaton Square, Ebury Street etc, plus a car park which is signposted
from Wilton Terrace.
